    Get all the power and features of the EF3000iSE and a little bit more: that "B" stands for Boost-Yamaha Boost Technology. An internal Boost Control Unit (BCU) senses when extra power is needed for starting high-draw tools and appliances, and boosts generator output for up to 10 seconds by adding stepped-up and inverted battery voltage to normal alternator output. That 10-second boost is ample time to give big air conditioners and heavy-duty power tools the extra kick they need to start quickly and efficiently. That extra boost helps reduce appliance motor temperature and excessive heat build-up during start up, increasing the life of your appliances.
